The courseware materials listed here are available to everyone.


Carnegie Mellon's Open Learning Initiative. The OLI is a collection of "cognitively informed", openly available and free online courses and course materials that enact instruction for an entire course in an online format.

Connexions. A rapidly growing collection of free scholarly materials on a wide variety of subjects.

Eclipse Community Education Project. The goal of the Eclipse Community Education Project (ECESIS) is to promote the creation, improvement and distribution of commercial and academic quality Eclipse courseware, education and training technologies, and resource material.

E-Commerce course materials. Focusing on three major components: Valuation of e-commerce firms, critical managerial issues for e-commerce operations and the underlying business models (Professor Joshua Livnat, New York University).

Electronic Commerce education materials. Course materials on new business models in e-commerce focusing on strategy, privacy, domain names and business method patents (Professors Sirkka L. Jarvenpaa and Emerson H. Tiller, University of Texas at Austin).

Intranets and Business Intelligence (Professor Jacek Brzezinski, DePaul University).

MERLOT. A free and open resource designed for faculty and students of higher education. MERLOT includes links to online learning materials along with peer reviews and assignments.

MIT OpenCourseWare. A free and open educational resource for faculty, students, and self-learners around the world designed to advance knowledge and education.

NEEDS. A digital library designed for engineering faculty and students of all ages with links to online learning materials in engineering and related areas of science and math.

ODBMS.org. The Object Database Management Systems portal provides the most up-to-date collection of free materials on object database technology on the Internet.

Open Courseware Consortium. A free and open digital publication of high quality educational materials, organized as courses.

Open Source Software Development course. The University of Victoria's Computer Science department's course in Open Source Software Development.

Virtual Cell classes at the IBM Education Assistant (IEA). Eighteen courses are currently available and were designed to satisfy various technical learning levels. Click on "Cell Broadband Engine" and then expand the Course Catalog to view the courses.
